Taylor 110 Acoustic Guitar Review

Taylor 110 Acoustic Guitar 110comes with three options.

  • 110 Taylor is for the budget minded guitarist. It’s a no frills acoustic guitar but with great sound quality.
  • 110e can be amplified with Taylor’s ES-T transducer pickup.
  • 110ce adds a cutaway to this series’ affordable dreadnought acoustic guitar.

All three Taylor 110 guitar models have solid Sitka spruce top and sapele laminate back and sides.

The solid wood top is not only visually appealing, but gives the guitar a nice mellow tone that I really like. I have smaller hands for a guy and the fretboard is great for both strumming and fingerpicking.

The volume of sound is adequate for playing in a mid-sized room but probably not enough in a bigger room of more than a few people without amplification (the 110e or 110ce would meet that need).

This guitar has a very rich and full bodied sound.  It really sings if you want to play it nice and easy but can be incredibly loud too.

The bass is very defined but not muddy or boomy. Not a lot of frills with this acoustic guitar but a quality acoustic guitar at an affordable price.

I read one reviewer who checked out a bunch of different acoustic guitars in the Taylor 110 price range and called it “The Best $600 Acoustic Guitar, Period!”

I would definitely recommend the Taylor 110 acoustic guitar for anyone looking for a great sounding guitar in the $600 range.
