The Talman TCY 10 is perfect for someone who is use to playing an electric guitar. It’s way more lightweight than most of the guitars reviewed on this site. The body is small and more like an electric in size yet you’ll still get a nice acoustic sound. This is a beautiful looking acoustic guitar.
The sound of the Ibanez TCY 10 is little bright if you know what I mean. If you like a much deeper sounding acoustic guitar you might not like this one as much. It’s just not real loud if it’s not plugged in. However, this might be a good thing if you’re just learning and don’t want to annoy anyone!
Or if you don’t want a loud acoustic guitar when you’re playing at home.
However when it’s plugged in it sounds great! If you’re coming from playing mostly electric guitar you will get the full tones of an acoustic guitar without losing the way an electric guitar feels.
This is a decent beginners acoustic guitar. For the money I’d probably go with the Jasmine ES31C by Takamine (reviewed here) if it’s just a more traditional sounding acoustic guitar that you’re looking for.
There is nothing really spectacular about this guitar sound-wise when not plugged in, although i must say it does look pretty nice. But as an acoustic-electric
Ibanez Talman TCY10 Acoustic-Electric Guitar acoustic guitar is a good choice.
