The tone of this acoustic guitar is good for the money. Another thing I like is the low action which is much more to my preference. As for sound this acoustic guitar is one of the best in its class. Of course it’s no Guild-Martin-Taylor, not very loud, lacks some bass, but it is a nice sound with decent tone.
It’s perfect in this category. This Alvarez RD8 has a surprisingly good sound and you won’t be disappointed with it. Nice sound for the price, sounds better than several other guitars that I tried that cost about the same. So if you’re a beginner or buying for a beginner you can’t go wrong with the Alvarez RD8 Acoustic Guitar.
For less than $300 and you get a hardshell case you cant really go wrong.
